Dang it!
I was all set to shoot and interview the lads from Animal Liberation Orchestra (http://www.alomusic.com/) tomorrow but then the sound check time changed and well, that threw the kaibash on the whole thing because the new time interfered with other stuff that was planned already. *sigh* No worries though, we're still going to the show and writing it up for Associated Content.
Looking forward to the gig and the yummy chicken wraps they have at the Fillmore for us hungry rockers that want to SIT and EAT before the show.
The Fillmore, still one of my favorite places to see a band.

Draw(r)ing

Last night we're drawing human figures again, drawing from copies of photographs of people. Hated all my attempts and teetered on the edge of despair wondering what the hell I was doing in that class. Then we had to draw someone in class as they drew someone in class. I apologized to all of my classmates and jumped in. I drew Eun because she has such a great haircut. Anyway her head turned out like twice the size of her body!! She's so gracious, she giggled and said she liked it! Bless her cotton socks. Anyway, there are only 2 classes left for me - all human figure drawings - gads! I honestly don't know if this class will help my abstract watercoloring (or hinder it) and I reckon I'm glad I took it for the knowledge learned regarding perspective, line drawing and shading. I do feel it was a bit restrictive yet necessary as a foundation to grow upon. Time will tell. Oh yes, and I am taking a bottle of red for the professor.
